Position Overview:

As an Aerospace Quality Inspector, you will hold a pivotal role in our quality assurance framework, guaranteeing that each aerospace component adheres to our rigorous quality criteria prior to integration into aircraft systems. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough inspections, assessments, and audits across the manufacturing lifecycle to pinpoint any deviations from specifications and uphold compliance with regulatory mandates and industry norms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive inspections and quality assessments on aerospace components utilizing precise measurement tools and methodologies.
  • Perform meticulous visual inspections and dimensional evaluations to validate the accuracy and integrity of machined parts and assemblies.
  • Interpret intricate engineering schematics, blueprints, and technical blueprints to ascertain adherence to design prerequisites.
  • Compile inspection records, meticulously document findings, and generate comprehensive inspection reports.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance cohorts to resolve any quality discrepancies and enact remedial measures as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in aerospace quality inspection or a comparable capacity is highly preferred.
  • Proficient comprehension of aerospace manufacturing methodologies, materials, and quality control paradigms.
  • Competence in employing precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges is essential.
  • Exemplary attention to detail and a capacity to sustain precision within fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving acumen coupled with adeptness in collaborative team settings.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other pertinent quality management systems and benchmarks is desirable.
