Description

If you are an Architect, with experience working on jails, prisons, correctional and criminal justice facilities, and believe in Building Relationships Based on Trust and Results - we need you! Position is available remote, but preferred in Ohio or Indiana.

Overview: Licensed architect that participates in the conceptual design of large scope and complex projects and provides full support through the entire project. Serves as an SME on the correctional market.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects.
  • Works closely with Project Management, Engineering, other Architects, and consultants to execute project plans.
  • Can be relied upon to present directly to clients on technical and design solutions.
  • Develops and represents the lead technical viewpoint on projects.
  • Coordinates with Director on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
  • Coordinates with Project Manager to directly supervise the team’s activities and provides developmental guidance.
  • Travels for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, construction administration, etc. (10% of time reserved for travel)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Architecture from a five-year NAAB accredited college or university.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Expertise working on jails, prisons, or correctional projects, required.
  • 7 years experience in Architecture.
  • Proficient with Revit.
  • Position only available to candidates residing in Indiana or Ohio.
