This is a hands-on position involved in assisting our technicians and customers in our service department. This is a fast-paced environment with high expectations where you are rewarded for doing exceptional work. This position is essential to the success of our shop and will be responsible for the following:

• Assigning repair orders to the appropriate technicians and making sure the work is done efficiently
• Encouraging a safe working environment and appropriate use of PPE
• Assisting Service Manager in training personnel and resolving customer complaints
• Maintaining the highest possible standards of workmanship
• Developing systems to check for quality of workmanship and jobs performed
• Striving for teamwork and harmony with other departments
• Working with parts department to ensure proper parts stocking of high use parts
• Communicating effectively with all customers and coworkers in a manner that reflects positively on one self, the dealership, and the brands
• All other duties assigned

Requirements

• Detail/customer oriented
• Excellent follow up skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and adapt to constantly changing priorities
• General computer knowledge and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Displays a “can-do” attitude that focuses on accountability and solutions
• Self-motivated
• Mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience working in a heavy-duty shop is preferred
• Must be able to pass drug and background screening
