Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to prepare accurate project estimates and detailed scope of work
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather detailed information for bidding purposes
• Prepare comprehensive and detailed project proposals
• Manage project documentation and permits
• Monitor project progress and budgets to ensure adherence to financial constraints
• Act as a liaison between clients and the project team, ensuring excellent communication and client satisfaction
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge of industry trends, pricing, materials, processes, and regulations to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator or project coordinator in the construction industry (4 years)
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools (PlanSwift and/or Excel proficiency is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and best practices
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy in project estimating
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials

Salary and Benefits:

• Full time
• Salary at $55,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience
