Join a dynamic, fast paced architectural team from our location in Matawan, NJ. As one of the nations top homebuilders, K. Hovnanian constructs over 6,000 homes each year. As part of our team, the Architectural Production Coordinator will ensure the timely delivery of homeowner architectural construction documents by managing the department scheduling of construction documents and support the department to meet company goals. Responsibilities will include the following.
- Provide excellent communication between CPD and responsible division associates with respect to dates, and accuracy and completeness of construction document requests. 
- Where requests not complete, communicate to division in a timely manner to ensure that the department meets divisional dates.
- Reference homebuilding schedules for due dates. Obtain, enter, and track milestone dates to ensure tasks are being completed within the template duration. 
- Schedule the projects in department systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint Project Management software and other internal tracking systems that are used to document work. Ensure subsequent reports from systems are accurate.
- Process the construction document orders through a unique menu-driven CAD system in order to provide CAD drawings for drafters to finalize construction document requests.
- Be efficient in multi-task management and analytical problem solving.
Project Management experience required. Strong planning, organization, coordinating and communication skills required. Must be proficient with Excel and Word. Basic AutoCAD knowledge and bachelor's degree preferred.
