Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with accurate and timely medical documentation
- Transcribe medical information, including patient history, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for medical documentation
- Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations
Requirements:
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to transcribe medical information quickly and accurately
- Familiarity with cardiology a plus medicine
- Understanding of physiology and disease processes
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Note: Prior experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
