Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will assist in the preparation and production of food items for our kitchen or catering services. Your role will involve various tasks to ensure efficient food service operations and maintain high standards of food safety.

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and menu planning
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately
- Clean, peel, slice, and chop fruits, vegetables, and other food items
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and grinders
- Package and label food items for storage or distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including storage areas
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is highly desirable
