Commercial Printing - General Manager

Job Details

We are looking for a candidate to manage a long-established Pottsville area commercial printing company, with headquarters in State College. The ideal candidate would have experience in managerial or supervisory roles, sales or customer service, communication skills, computer skills, technical experience with printing or high-speed digital print devices, estimating, logistics, and a reliable vehicle. Precision and detail-orientated. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and handle high-work volume in a team environment. Prior experience in commercial printing, copying, graphics, most helpful. Salary negotiable based on experience.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Principal point of contact for job order entry. Responsible for managing communications between the customer and production to ensure consistent, flawless results. Manage client activity: accurately translate and communicate customer project requirements to estimating for providing pricing to customer and to facilitate timely production of the end product, create job tickets, track job status through the production process, report status to customers, review project billing and revisions to ensure invoice accuracy, initiate contact to dormant accounts, handle new prospect inquiries. Maintain a polite, friendly, tactful manner when handling customer complaints/inquiries. Perform other general tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Managerial/customer service experience
• Experienced communication skills both verbal and written
• Production planning and estimating
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
