Job Description

We are a busy Midvale dental office looking for friendly, outgoing person to assist the dentist in all areas. The candidate needs to be able to put patients at ease and carry on a conversation with the doctor and the patients, while still being efficient and competent as an assistant.

The candidate must be willing to jump in and help anywhere that is needed in the office including helping the front office and hygienists as needed.

We use Dentrix and Dexis. Hours are M-W 7 : 15-4 : 30, Th 7 : 15-1 : 30 and 1 Friday a month 7 : 15 -1 : 30. Some benefits available.

This is a great office with no drama! The doctors are ethical and honest and our patients are happy to be here. Many of our patients have been coming for generations and we take great pride in having such long term relationships with them.

Salary is negotiable and depends on experience.

Responsibilities

Assist dentist, prepare room, clean room and instruments, take x-rays, take impressions, make temporary crowns, and any other tasks that are required.

Will help the front office and the hygienists as needed.

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years experience as a dental assistant. Ability to suction (we do not use the Isolite suction system- must have experience with traditional suction), take impressions, x-rays etc.

Great personality. Comfortable talking with the patients and doctors.
