Job Overview:

We are actively seeking an Operations Intern to join our Operations team in Orange, CT.

This is a unpaid internship for recent high school/college graduate or those pursuing a Business related Degree. The hours are anticipated to be around 16-20 hours a week.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist with asset management tasks, including monitoring supplier performance, reconciling assets, and preparing equipment shipments and tracking asset returns
• Assist with shipping process and organization of inventory and equipment 
• Learn about fleet management tasks, such as transportation scheduling, negotiation with suppliers for optimal rates, and resolving fleet-related disputes
• Learn about corporate safety and assist with tracking safety requirements, budget tracking, and assigning trainings for new hires
• Gain exposure to business compliance tasks, such as researching and collecting information for the application submittal and filing of necessary business documents, keeping documentation, and creating reports and metrics

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be a college student or recent college or High School graduate; or currently enrolled pursuing a career or degree in a Business related field
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
• Must be able to report to our office in Orange, CT (16-20 hours per week)
