Job Purpose

The Shuttle Driver will shuttle trucks from Branch to Branch or from Branch to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Shuttle trucks from Branch to Branch or Branch to customer.

Pre-trip Truck Inspections

Follow all DOT regulations.

All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Must have two (2) years safe driving record.

Must have the ability to troubleshoot the flow of traffic and road conditions.

Must be insurable by insurance company.

Physical and mental demands :

While performing the duties of this job, employees are continuously required to sit, use simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, foot controls, and drive.

They are occasionally required to walk and bend, reach and lift / carry up to 75lbs. Employees also infrequently stand,squat, kneel, crawl or lie on ones back, climb or balance, lift / carry up to 100lbs, push and pull.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, employees are continuously required to use written and oral communication skills

Working environment :

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the primary functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally working in high, precarious places and are exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

They are infrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals that require PPE and / or ventilation and work near moving mechanical equipment.

The noise level in the environment is loud and are that of normal shop conditions.
