Job Description

JWF Industries is seeking an entry-level Marketing Coordinator to join their team in Johnstown, PA. This is an important, in-person role responsible for coordinating the effective representation and communication of JWF Industries to a variety of internal and external audiences.

Essential Duties

The successful candidate will:

• Maintain a directory and inventory of sales & marketing materials, ensuring all resources are current and precise. Coordinate the design of new materials as necessary.
• Draft press releases, speeches, and presentations as needed. Maintain an accurate media contact listing to coordinate radio & TV advertising.
• Monitor and update the company’s social media outlets.
• Work with other internal resources to monitor and maintain/update the JWFI website.
• Arrange events and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, develop schedules and assignments.

Education Level

Education or experience in organizational development, education, or related discipline.

Experience

The successful candidate will have have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, with familiarity in a wide range of marketing functions including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, photography, and social media.

Proficiency in Canva and MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) required.

Flexibility to work non-traditional hours will be needed to attend internal employee events and external functions. Occasional travel (some overnight) as needed.

While performing the duties of the job, the individual is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. The individual is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The individual is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The individual will frequently walk. The individual must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

When in Productions areas, the individual may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to wet and/ or humid conditions and extreme cold or heat, and may be at risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.
