Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to ensure the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse or distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo machines
- Load and unload materials from trailers or containers
- Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse or distribution center
- Assist in managing warehouse space efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in material handling, warehouse management, or distribution center operations
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks
- Ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks is a plus
- Familiarity with load/unload procedures and pallet jack operation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
