Training Overview:

• Open to UMass Memorial Health Staff and their referred friends and family
• Program starts June 2024
• Six-week, PAID in-person training plus $3,000 stipend for all participants who complete the training and are in good standing at time of payment
• Results in a job as a Patient Care Associate at UMass Memorial Health, paid a minimum of $17.59 per hour day shift, $19.59 per hour evening shift, and $21.59 per hour overnight shift (rates include shift differentials)
• Credentials included with this program: Home Health Aide (HHA), CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and First Aid

Eligibility:

• Must have a HS Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalency
• Must be flexible to work every other weekend and holiday
• Must have at least intermediate English skills
• Must be willing to get an MMR vaccination and take a TB test
• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test
