The Role

The Senior Manager of Revenue and Performance Analytics will contribute to the success of the organization by leading all aspects of revenue management, market analytics, and revenue generating opportunities for JVM’s multifamily properties. The successful candidate must have a background in multifamily operations, revenue management, and market data analytics. Candidate must be comfortable managing multiple high priority projects at the same time. We are looking for self-driven candidates who are excited by the thought of crafting initiatives and executing projects that will maximize the value of our assets and position JVM for its next phase of growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Operations, Accounting, and Marketing to develop, execute, analyze, and measure revenue strategies by property and region.
• Supervise Business Intelligence and Performance Analytics functions.
• Daily review and acceptance of rate recommendations to meet ownership strategy and goals.
• Assist Operations, Marketing, and Regional Leadership in diagnosing property performance.
• Monitor and assess the impact of changes in market conditions (competitive landscape, new supply, macro-economic factors etc.) to form pricing strategy.
• Manage and assist with revenue management, reporting and performance analytics platform implementations and training.
• Work with Strategic Services Department to identify and implement revenue management best practices and policy.
• Serve as administrator and subject matter expert of revenue and performance analytics technology platforms.
• Track and implement new revenue and performance system enhancements.
• Develop custom reports, scorecards and dashboards as requested by executive leadership. Produce and distribute documentation to support report usage and understanding.
• Prepare agendas and facilitate revenue performance meetings.
• Work closely with Marketing to review and interpret comparative market surveys, leasing velocity and traffic behavior
• Assist in planning and executing potential acquisition, development, and renovation opportunities.
• Manage the budget process to forecast property revenues.

Education and Experience:

• 5 years Multifamily industry experience in Multifamily Revenue Management required.
• 5 years Multifamily operating system experience (OneSite, Yardi etc.)
• 3 years' experience with Multifamily business intelligence and benchmarking tools (AIRM, YieldStar, Performance Analytics, Business Intelligence etc.).
• Advanced technical and analytical skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word) required.
• Experience delivering professional presentations and dealing with senior executives.
• Strong project management skills required; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
