We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who can work independently to perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks at businesses and retail establishments. In this role you will troubleshoot issues, make necessary repairs, and ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work order repairs and inspections

• Maintain properties

• Perform general maintenance, light plumbing, painting, carpentry, and other miscellaneous duties

• Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Consideration will be given to individuals that have the following skills.

• Three years of experience with basic maintenance repairs

• Proven customer service skills

• Ability to read and interpret building drawings

• Ability to compose repair reports

• Communicates effectively

• Knowledge of basic computer software, and the ability to learn how to use maintenance software to input and complete work orders with attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Pass background check and drug testing

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Conduct self in a professional manner

• Ability to use ladder to complete tasks

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• The employee will work one on one with office staff, dispatcher, and clients.

• The employee will work multiple locations in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area; travel to areas outside of Louisville is occasionally required; infrequent overnight stays may be necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
