Justrite Safety Group is Hiring a Maintenance ii shift Near Moselle, MS

Essential Job Function

Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.

Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection and rework. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.

Examines, tests, and measures production from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments, and records date on appropriate forms.

Checks product for visual defects.

Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.

Examines defects and analyzes causes and, where possible, takes corrective action. Analyzes and records cause of production delays on preventive maintenance records.

Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.

Tests, analyzes and takes corrective action on electrical issues with equipment as assigned.

Performs basic electrical tasks in facility, as assigned.

Other miscellaneous duties as required by supervision.

Job Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial maintenance related field or equivalent course work.

Must possess and demonstrate mechanical aptitude and electrical ability.

Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and ability and knowledge of gauges and measurements.

Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools and machine blue print reading.

High mental and visual effort required.

Ability to coordinate multi and changing priorities.

Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift driver training program

Occasionally deals with low temperature, high temperature, and high humidity. Frequently deals with the inside, moving objects, noise, and oil.

Equipment Used

This job is performed with the use of various hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, etc.), various electrical hand tools (wire cutters, strippers, conduit bender, hacksaw, multi-meter), power tools (drill, holesaws, jigsaw, etc.), and forklift.
