JusticeWorks is Hiring a Remote SCHOOL BASED COUNSELOR
- Bachelor's Degree or above in an area approved by PDE to administer counseling in Alt Ed. Credentials include: Certified School Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, Certified/Licensed Therapist, Certified Addictions Counselor (as appropriate), School Psychologist or Psychologist.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Provide at least 2.5 hours of individual or group counseling for every student as applicable.
- Teach socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement.
- Confer with parents or guardians, other teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral and academic issues.
