This Hybrid opportunity can have you using your skills in new ways! Most of the time the role is a work from home role, but it is vital the candidate be able to be in Taunton, MA JRI office potentially once per month. JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by supporting this mission through use of your administrative skills. Our staff provide services in the communities where the people we serve live, utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach collaboration with the people we work with that is grounded in culturally competent, individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.The Regional Admissions Support Team of the Community Based Division is a new department of professionals that is tasked with providing an exceptional, client–centered focus for incoming persons served and external referral sources. The goal is to help people get the care they need, and use administrative skills to guide this process. The Admissions Support Specialist will be an administrative role that is responsible for data collection and maintenance, along with office and HR functions for the team.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree preferred but NOT required (equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in data management and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of the Human Service field helpful and provides a good basis for the work. 
  • Knowledge of state agency, commercial plan, and MassHealth funding helpful but not required. 
  • Candidates must have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Applicant must have an active driver’s license and ability to be at work on time with some potential travel to corporate sites on a monthly basis required.

  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
