Who We Are Looking For:
Are you the House Keeper we have been looking for? We are currently seeking a house keeper who will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the residence. This position is ideal for someone interested in working and cleaning for residents with mental health issues in a small setting. As our House Keeper, you will be able to work independently to provide a clean and welcoming community!
Cohannet Academy , located at Taunton State Hospital, is a Joint Commission-Accredited Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) specializing in trauma-informed care. Cohannet Academy is contracted with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (MA DMH), to provide in-house services and treatment to adolescent biological females, ages 13 to 18. Many of the youth have histories of complex trauma and unstable home lives, prior hospitalizations, and unsuccessful interventions in less-intensive settings. Cohannet Academy provides a safe and energizing therapeutic environment from which the youth can learn and grow. Cohannet works with each youth and their family to establish a trajectory of hope and accomplishment.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our residents.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
