Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Bottle Printing Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our production and QC department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to ensure high-quality printing on various types of bottles. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in screen printing processes, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering superior results.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Operate screen printing machinery to print designs accurately and efficiently on bottles of different shapes, sizes, and materials.
• Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate printing equipment according to job specifications, including adjusting screen frames, squeegee pressure, and ink viscosity.
• Quality Control: Monitor printing processes to ensure consistent quality and color accuracy throughout production runs. Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during printing.
• Ink Mixing and Preparation: Prepare printing inks by mixing colors according to the required specifications. Maintain an organized inventory of inks and other consumables.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to keep it in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions as needed to minimize downtime.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for screen printing operations.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of production runs, including print settings, ink usage, and quality control checks. Provide feedback on process improvements and potential efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience working as a screen printing technician, preferably in a bottle printing or similar manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating screen printing equipment and related tools. Knowledge of printing techniques, such as color separation and registration, is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in color matching and print alignment.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions to maintain continuous production flow.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required in the printing process.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate production schedules and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training or certification in screen printing or a related field.
• Familiarity with specialized software used in screen printing
• Knowledge of different types of printing substrates and their unique requirements.
• Experience with automated screen printing machinery and digital printing technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.50 per hour
