Responsibilities

The Sweep takes charge of the cleanliness and overall sanitation of our cafe. 

Washing Dishes: You'll be responsible for scrubbing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. 

Sweeping and Mopping: Keep those floors looking fabulous by sweeping away any crumbs, dirt, or debris and mopping up any spills. Spot sweeping as the day progresses. 

Area Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain various areas of the cafe, including the barista area, kitchen area, and seating areas. 

Dirty Dishes: Scout for dirty dishes left around the cafe, both inside and outside the kitchen. 

Dish Bin Duties: Manage the dish bins, ensuring they are emptied, cleaned, and replaced with fresh, clean tubs. 

Cleaning Tables: Wiping down tables as guests leave, to ensure new guests that enter have clean tables to sit at. 

Guest Support: Check on guests and pre-bus their tables to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment. 

Window: Keep the windows squeaky clean, allowing natural light to illuminate our cafe. 

Trash Time: Take charge of throwing out trash and ensuring trash bins are empty and odor-free. 

Box Breakdown: Breaking down empty boxes and keeping storage areas neat and organized. 

Bathrooms: Check bathrooms to ensure paper towels and toilet paper are full. Clean as needed. 

Qualifications

- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition

- Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift for extended periods
