Regional Area Nutrition Consultant- Position will support multiple locations within region.

They excel in customer service, training, education, and most importantly, they are sales driven. The Area Nutrition Consultant oversees multiple JustFoodForDogs’ Pantries independently within several different Petco Stores in the market. They will focus on selling JustFoodForDogs' product as well as training new field team members in company best practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Train and develop new/existing JFFD NCP members in best practices for achieving company’s field program objectives

· Consistent travel to multiple locations within the region to provide coverage where needed in support of the Pantry Area Manager

· Help motivate pantries to reach all store and sales goals!

· Assist with daily administrative tasks such as checking inventory, completing deployment sheet tasks, and any other tasks Pantry Area Manager may ask.

· Sales approach: actively engage with customers and their dogs to make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products; go out into Petco floor to reach customers

· Reach sales goals by generating and retaining sales through great customer service

· Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD; ensure customers are aware of JFFD and benefits

· Establish and maintain Customer Relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers

· Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, and inventory management and point of sale policies.

· Communicates insights/ideas to manager to help the pantries achieve sales targets

Qualifications

· Drive to meet and exceed goals; sales goal

· Reliable form of transportation to commute to multiple locations in region

· Retail sales experience; pet nutrition experience a plus

· Passion to make a difference in the health and lives of dogs and cats

· Skilled at assessing needs, sharing features and benefits of products, overcoming objections and wrapping up productive consults

· Able to help multiple customers at once; strong interpersonal skills

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Able to lift 50 lbs
