Just Between Seniors is Hiring a Caregiver for Elderly Near Montgomery, TX

We're looking for individuals who have experience caring and mature, responsible adults 35 years of age caring for the elderly and are passionate about helping others. As a Caregiver, you'll be assisting our elderly clients with much of their daily tasks. You will be engaged in activities such as bathing, grocery shopping, driving to appointments and light housekeeping. We need individuals who can be flexible and take advantage of opportunities that arise in all aspects of the job. We are seeking candidates that are enthusiastic, committed to this field and have the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide services for Seniors, disabled and Veterans at their homes and in the communities.
  • Provide direct care for Seniors, disabled and Veterans in the context of individualized support plans.
  • Ensure the care needs of each individual are met in accordance with their current supports and service plan.
  • Develop positive relationships with client's family and community supports.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in an electronic record keeping system.
  • Annual CEU training.
  • Saying in HIPPA compliance.
  • Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including:

- bathing - bed bath - shaving - ambulation - mouth care - dressing - exercise - hair care - feeding - toileting - nail care - positioning - medication reminding - skin care - transferring - hoyer lift - cooking - meal prep - cleaning - companionship - transportation - pet assistance - laundry - light house keeping - Urine drain bag.

  • Ensure client’s safety and security by supervising the home environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Mileage reimbursement

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
