Juniper is Growing! We are seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman with a specialty in sod installation to supervise and work alongside a landscape construction crew while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with our quality standards in mind.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily site operations for a landscape construction crew
• Coordinating the equipment and materials needed for each project
• Supervising and training crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety aspects
• Maintaining project schedules and completing landscape construction projects within deadlines
• Overseeing quality control on job sites
• Safely operating equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and excavators to perform landscape construction projects
• Loading/unloading cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materials
• Reading landscape plans and providing landscape material layouts
• Daily timekeeping of work hours on job sites for crew members
• Ensuring equipment and truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintained
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements:

• Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
• Experience with landscape construction projects
• Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation
• Supervisory experience
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools, forklift, heavy machines, and power equipment needed for landscape construction projects
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
