Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to become part of our educational team. As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating students' language proficiency, critical thinking abilities, and literary appreciation. Your mission will involve fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the English language through literature, writing, and communication skills development.

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the needs of diverse student populations

Instruct students in various aspects of English language arts, including reading comprehension, writing composition, grammar, and vocabulary

Introduce students to a variety of literary genres, authors, and literary works from different cultural and historical contexts

Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their writing and analytical skills

Cultivate an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking

Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences that integrate English language arts with other subjects

Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences

Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field

-Proficiency in English language arts curriculum development and instructional methodologies

-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment

-Commitment to continuous professional development and growth

-Be able to pass a background check
