Job Description:
As part of the Wealth Management Marketing team, the Digital Content team leads digital content strategy across the Client Wealth Management business to deliver relevant and impactful content to clients and prospects across the FA-advised, Workplace and Digital Direct client segments. The team oversees content development and distribution and advises partners on all aspects of content strategy to drive business impact. To be effective, we must connect our audience(s) needs to our business priorities and deliver impactful content that inspires our audience to take the intended action. We work across formats (article, video, audio, infographic, interactive) and channels (web, email, social event, paid media) and rely on data-driven insights to deliver the right message to the right audience in the right format at the right time.
The Associate Content Strategist will be responsible for supporting a Senior Content Strategist, as well as providing ad hoc support for others on the Digital Content Team, with a primary focus on maintaining and updating an extensive library of digital content on our Client public website.
Client uses content to educate prospects and clients on financial topics with the goal of helping them open an account and invest.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a junior-level content strategist with strong editing and project management skills to help manage the workflow involved in maintain a library of editorial content. The editor would:
- Work with writers to refresh (or remove) existing content on ET.com that is no longer in compliance and not up to par with best practices. This will require a proficiency editing content about personal finance and investing, light writing skills and an ability to tailor content to fit the Client brand and customer.
- Traffic digital content assets through review, approval and publishing processes, utilizing the firm's workflow tools, staying on top of next steps and deadlines.
- Help create videos using an AI-driven self-serve video platform to support key campaigns.
- Maintain editorial, promotion and campaign calendars and trackers.
- Handle admin-style tasks that are part of the work, such as opening tickets in workflow tools.
- Create and distribute the monthly Digital Content newsletter to internal partners.
- Write social media copy and support social asset creation in line with social media best practices.
- Support ad hoc projects on the Digital Content Team.
Other Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in digital media or working in the content function within world class marketing organizations.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive independently in situations with tight deadlines and fast-moving parameters.
- Highly organized, exceptionally detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization and digital content marketing best practices.
- Understanding of digital content analytics, consumption behaviors and drivers.
