PrimaryPurpose :

Theprimary purpose of the Food & Beverage Manager is to direct andorganize the activities of the Food & Beverage department tomaintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service,marketing, andprofitability.

WorkPerformed :

The Food& BeverageManager willbe tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, andassignments :

  • Planning,directing, assigning and delegating responsibility for allfunctions of the Food & Beverage department to meet dailyoperationalneeds inaccordance to Atrium’sCoreValues ;
  • Increaserevenues through the production and implementation of creativepromotional programs, as well as upsellingof options;
  • Collaboratingwith Event Sales to ensure proper service to clients duringbanquets, as well as meeting with functional group leaders withinbanquets to determine last minute changes and discuss variousset-up arrangements;
  • Leading,coaching and developing associates in all areas of the Food &Beverage department;
  • Adhereto monthly forecasts and administer operations in a fiscallyresponsible manner;
  • Achievingall guest service standards, constantly seeking ways to improveproduct and service as well as increase volumesand profits;
  • Ensurecompliance with all Atrium policies and procedures with respect tothe Food & Beverage department, as well as all local, state,and federal lawsand regulations;

Managedirect reports by ensuring Associates understand employmentpractices, recommending employment decisions and corrective action,supporting performance management, and implementingdiscipline

Supportother departments as needed based onbusiness demands ;

Followall company safety and security policies and procedures, includingreportingaccidents, injuries andunsafe work conditions tomanagement ; and

Anyandall otherwork as required to complete the primary purpose of theposition.
