The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs to the stores.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the store’s equipment and systems.
• Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Consults blueprints or building plans to identify best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
• Performs general cleaning/painting tasks in and outside of the store.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Projects that require remodeling of stores and construction projects
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, twist, reach above head & below knees, squat and safely climb a ladder/step stool
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management skills.
