Our company seeks a skilled and experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The HVAC Maintenance Technician will perform various maintenance and repair tasks in stores located throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. This includes installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration equipment, and small kitchen appliances.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks related to HVAC and refrigeration. This includes preventative maintenance.
• Commercial Equipment:diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment on-site and at the main workshop. This includes commercial fridges and freezers, ice machines, and AC units.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
• Ensure that work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure the company vehicle is organized and returned to the main facility.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• At least 3 years in-field experience with commercial HVAC and Refrigeration.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, as well as have a working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to HVAC work
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• 4 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift.
• Occasional repairs will need to be done after the restaurants close.
