Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented VoIP Phone System Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and configuring VoIP phones, specifically Polycom models, and delivering headsets to customers. This role involves managing the deployment of approximately 3000 phones, maintaining accurate records, and providing technical support to ensure a seamless communication system.
Key Responsibilities:
Phone Setup and Configuration:
Set up and configure Polycom VoIP phones for new and existing users.
Ensure proper network connectivity and configuration for each device.
Perform firmware updates and software configurations as required.
Headset Deployment, Record Keeping, Customer Support, Quality Assurance, Organizational Skills, Problem-Solving
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in VoIP technologies or networking (e.g., CompTIA Network , CCNA, Polycom certification).
Experience with other VoIP systems and related hardware.
Previous experience in a similar role involving large-scale phone system deployments.
