Salary: $145,000.00 USD Annually - $160,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client in the capital market/financial services space is currently seeking a Java Developer to join their team. This is a full-time position, with a base bonus compensation structure and a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 remote).

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Directly support the application development of big data application
• Develop, test, and document software quality
• Perform application and project risk analysis
• Previous experience with resolving security vulnerabilities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4 years of being hands-on building high-speed, data-centric solutions
• At least 4 years hands-on with Java 8
• Experience with frameworks like Kafka Streaming or FLINK
• Experience with cloud migrations. Preferred with AWS foundational services
• Experience with writing unit and integration tests with frameworks like Junit or Citrus
• Familiarity with monitoring tools/frameworks like Splunk, Prometheus, ElasticSearch

The most important part of this position is expert Java knowledge and hands-on experience with Kafka Streams and/or FLINK.
