JDP is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in the Allentown, PA area for a Major Metal Manufacturing company.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the shop team in meeting production goals and quality standards, following company policies, customer needs, and regulations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems to minimize downtime.
- Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation.
- Conduct quality inspections of fabricated rebar for accuracy and proper tagging.
- Participate in employee evaluations to recommend appropriate compensation.
- Operate various shop equipment like shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, etc., to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications :
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 a plus) highly preferred but not required
- At least 5 years of experience in a rebar shop, manufacturing setting, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate all shop equipment safely and efficiently.
