Level 103Summary/PurposeProvides first and second level support to users with computer hardware and software issues. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Windows operating systems. Proficient demonstrated ability and accuracy with problem solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve computer hardware, network and software problems. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: Support local and remote user questions, problems, and needs with prompt and courteous attentionPerform daily monitoring, while verifying the integrity and availability of resourcesPerform daily administration activitiesLaptop and desktop imaging, configuration, deployment and supportOnsite desktop/laptop/thin client supportAD account administrationProvide end user training/support for applicationsResponsible for resolving IT problems that may arise and/or obtain outside resources that may be neededResponsible for installing software and hardware for employees, train new staff and existing staffAssist technicians by troubleshooting software, hardware and network issuesAssist in the installation, configuration and testing of IoT devicesPrioritize work orders and helpdesk tickets according to severityExcellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsOther duties as assigned by managementSupervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiar with helpdesk software (SDP)Proficient with Microsoft operating systemsExperience supporting mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.)Experience with Microsoft Server operating systemsGeneral knowledge of networking protocolsMust be able to prioritize and meet deadlinesExperience with VMware, Anti-Virus Suites, O365, SCCM a plus Education and Experience: Associate's degree in related field, bachelor’s degree in related field preferredA or other industry certification is a plus Work Environment/Physical Demands: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
