Summary/Purpose:
The assembly technician will support manufacturing activities that follow policies and procedures related to successful manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.

• Able to learn to operator and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with emphasis on quality, safety/environmental, 5S and productivity
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Flexible to work in any area of the operation and support other shifts as needed
• Work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with a positive outlook
• Responsible to help maintain 5S for the area
• Travel, as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and ergonomics oriented for the applicable job
• Ability to understand and demonstrate standard work
• Proficient English communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed per business need
• Regular and punctual attendance

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed
• Will be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterity
• May be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs.
