Position Overview: As Engineering Intern at JCSNA, you will explore varying Engineering aspects as they apply to the automotive industry. Our organization prides ourselves on our Engineering Capabilities therefore interning with us is very exciting and enlightening. As our interns work through their curriculum we offer an environment that will allow for a deeper understanding and practical application. 

We are looking for dynamic, energetic interns eager to learn about our company. Intern Responsibilities:

-Fulfill tasks set out .

-Provide support for key company initiatives.

-Attend meetings and take minutes.

-Verbal and written communication skills. 

-Rotates through divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve.

Requirements

Student Intern Responsibilities: As the student intern enters JCSNA, he or she is expected to assume, as much as possible, the role of a regular staff member. The responsibilities include:

• Adhering to JCSNA work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
• Adhering to JCSNA policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
• Assuming personal and professional responsibilities for his or her actions and activities.
• Maintaining professional relationships with JCSNA employees, customers and so forth.
• Utilizing a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within the profession.
• Relating and applying knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the JCSNA setting.
• Developing a self-awareness in regard to attitudes, values, behavior patterns, and so forth that influence work.
• Preparing for and utilizing conferences and other opportunities of learning afforded in the JCSNA.
• Being consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments to the supervisor and faculty coordinator.

Requirements

Must be actively enrolled in an engineering curriculum based program within their education facility.
