Security Clearance Requirement: Current Interim Secret (at a minimum)
Location Note: Must commit to 3 days/week minimum sharing time on-site at the Pentagon, Mark Center, and Crystal City offices
Relocation: Relo support will be considered for candidates outside the commuting area

JTEC Consulting is hiring Qlik Dashboard Developers to join our team supporting the ADVANA multi-domain government platform for advancing data analytics. Qualified candidates will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Prior experience working in a distributed computer environment with SQL, Spark, ETL is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-minded professional curious to understand the customer's requirements to bring innovative ideas and solutions to a collaborative team!

Job Description Disclaimer:

Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience supporting Business Intelligence and/or Data Governance and Analysis working with Qlik dashboarding and development technologies.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Support the program's mission to simplify solutions and enhance analytics capabilities
Serve as a trusted resource to understand and maximize information in the customer's data-rich environment
Develop solutions for high volume, low latency applications
Develop dashboards and optimize data science methods for use by military leadership
Develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, maximize automation, and apply machine learning methods and techniques
Other duties as assigned

Education and qualifications include (but are not limited to):

U.S. citizenship
Current security clearance (interim secret at a minimum)
Bachelor's degree
Experience working with data analytic and data science as a service (DSaaS) tools
Experience creating BI dashboards using Qlik, Power BI, and Tableau
Experience building analytical models (forecasting, cost models, trend analysis)
Effective written and verbal communication skills including developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment interacting with government and contractor teams
Experience with scripting in SQL, Python, VBA, R, or JavaScript
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
Commitment to work on-site atleast 3 days/week

Preferred Skills include:

Experience with Qlik dashboarding and development functions
Experience with facilitating BI tool training
Experience in using DoD data management
Experience with Qlik scripting
Experience with Python scripting
Experience with UX/UI design to help build better visualizations
Experience with Qlik Sense - all areas
Ability to manipulate and integrate databases with SQL, SAS, or other languages
Knowledge of big data systems, including Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, or Cloudera
Work with stakeholders to communicate development plans and track progress milestones
Excellent critical thinking skills to assess numbers, trends, and data to reach new conclusions based on findings
Excellent quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management
Experience with data governance and analysis
