Position Description:
Multiple positions!! JTEC Consulting is hiring mid-level Oracle Database Administrators with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) experience to work in support of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Initiative (MROi) solution in a DoD environment. Qualified candidates will have experience administration of Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle database, Oracle middleware and related environments.

JTEC Consulting is hiring mid-level Oracle Database Administrators with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) experience to work in support of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Initiative (MROi) solution in a DoD environment. Qualified candidates will have experience administration of Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle database, Oracle middleware and related environments.
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Work across one or more teams to support DBA responsibilities for Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle database, Oracle middleware and related environments
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement in evaluation of user requests/requirements, architecting, determining, and implementing an optimum technology solution by applying best practices
- Support designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management
- Support Postgres features and utilities, security patching, and strong tuning
- Support related documentation
- Other duties, as assigned
Education and qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- U.S. citizenship
- Current Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Current Security certification to meet DoD 8570 IAT II compliance requirements
- 5 years of related experience working as an Oracle EBS DBA with EBS Application Tier and Database Tier including:
- Cloning
- Security
- Patching
- Strong Tuning
- Optimization
- 3 years of overall experience including Oracle Weblogic Administration, SSO, and related technologies
- Experience with administration of Oracle EBS, Oracle database, Oracle middleware and related environments
- Avanced knowledge of relational database design, Postgres features and utilities, security patching, strong tuning, and optimization
- Advanced knowledge of designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management
