JTB TWELVE LLC is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near De Land, FL

JOB SUMMARY

This individual will be responsible for performing initial client evaluations, developing the Service Plan/Plan of Care, and conducting supervisory visits in the client’s place of residence.

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

JOB RELATIONSHIPS

  • Supervised by: Operations Manager
  • Workers Supervised: HHA, CNA

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Manage day to day schedules and client assignments
  • Answer phone and conduct intakes, take after-hours and weekend emergency calls, when scheduled scheduling issues and client referrals/intakes
  • Perform initial and ongoing in-home evaluation, caregiver introductions, coordination and supervision of client services
  • Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative non-medical procedures; may provide limited skilled nursing services according to FirstLight’s service boundaries, when applicable
  • Supervise, train, and conduct caregiver performance appraisals, when necessary
  • Complete appropriate visit records in a timely manner and according to policy
  • Conduct initial and ongoing visits to prospective and existing clients following initial referrals to introduce Home Care and foster relationship growth.
  • Participate in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agency’s services, as requested.
  • Stay current with changing technology, including software programs
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications, and educational experience required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
  • Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in nursing, home care experience preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Google Suite preferred
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as a positive and professional image

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE, & REGISTRATION

  • Maintain current state Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITIES

  • Ability to evaluate situations and make complex decisions using critical thinking and reasoning.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is in an office and/or indoors in a resident’s home and may contain a potential exposure to illness and/or body fluids. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
