JTA Deliveries Inc. is looking to add reliable, and safe drivers to our contingency team nationwide. This position is a traveling position that will require travel for up to 3 weeks at a time, depending on the needs of the business.

Drivers are responsible for safe and timely handling and delivery of packages to businesses and residential areas on their route. Drivers enjoy independence on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
• Completion of all assigned delivery and pickup stops for the day.
• Proper usage of hand held device to record all activity for the day.
• Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.
• Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages as well as follow directions and turn by turn maps.
• Friendly to customers & team members.

Delivery Driver Benefits:

• $200 a day while training, then up to $250 a day after that.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have 6 months of consecutive commercial driving experience in the last 3 years. Driving experience must be paid, for work, not to and from work. I.e. Pizza delivery, mail delivery, parcel delivery, real estate, home healthcare, etc. A CDL is not required.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to travel anywhere in the United States and willing to work in any type of environment.
• Qualified individuals without experience will be considered for training programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
