Role: Sr. IBM WebSphere Consultant

Location: Indianapolis, IN Hybrid Onsite

Responsibilities:

EDI Implementation and Management:

Design, develop, and implement EDI solutions using IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX).

Configure and manage EDI processes, including mapping, translation, and data integration.

Monitor and maintain EDI transaction flows to ensure smooth operation and compliance with industry standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT).

Transformation and Integration:

Develop and deploy transformation maps to convert various data formats (e.g., XML, CSV) to EDI standards.

Integrate WTX solutions with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) and third-party systems.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the transformation process.

Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WTX and EDI processes.

Identify, analyse, and resolve mapping and translation issues.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize future issues.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Document technical specifications, mapping requirements, and process flows.

Participate in project planning, status meetings, and provide updates on task progress.

Required Skills:

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and EDI/X12 standards.
• Proficient in developing and managing EDI mappings, transformations, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of various EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and formats.
