SUMMARY:
Build, develop and make replacement die and mold tooling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Build, develop and qualify production die and mold tooling
2. Make replacement die and mold tooling
3. Maintain shop equipment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 5-7 years’ experience in related work
3. Technical school, CAD capability, NC programming capability a plus
4. Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings
5. Ability to set up and operate machines
6. Die/Mold building and development, heat treating, machine build, product prototyping
7. Must have proficiency in use of tool room machines
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:
Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker a plus but not required Journeyman Machinist a plus but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasionally may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Tool Room/Production Area
