We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. ```Responsibilities```
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Monitor and record vital signs of individuals under your care
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
- Document observations, incidents, and progress notes accurately and timely

```Skills```
- Experience in patient care, preferably with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in direct support or home care settings is preferred
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Knowledge of hospice care principles is desirable but not required
- Meal preparation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
