Director of Nursing for Skilled Nursing Home

We are searching for a Director of Nursing to assist in our passion of providing quality care for our seniors. In this role, you will be able to provide meaningful leadership that will make a difference in the lives of all residents, their families, and many of our associates.

In the Director of Nursing role you will be able to accomplish the following:

• Ensure all federal and state regulations are followed and the highest standards of care are upheld
• Continual evaluation and development of all clinical policies, procedures, and programming
• Report on effectiveness of all clinical initiatives
• Strive to maintain industry leading memory care programming and services; evaluate new techniques and/or products to determine if implementation is beneficial
• Conduct site visits in conjunction with Regional VP Clinical Director and develop site level evaluation tools to better assist communities’ efforts to provide the highest quality of care
• Coach and develop nursing talent within the organization
• Participate in all regulatory surveys and work with communities to eliminate deficiencies
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and/or vendor partnerships to increase the well-being of our residents
• Develop and maintain compliance standards in coordination with COO and Operations team
• Work with Associate Advancement & Education team to ensure all training and development is effective and followed
• Requirements
• Prefer prior experience in nursing at facility level with experience supervising direct care staff
• Experience with quality management improvement, familiar with state regulatory requirements, problem solving, staff development skills, coaching and health care services
• Require prior experience as a Regional Nurse or similar for at least 2 years with oversight of multiple locations. Multiple states a plus.
• Previous policy and procedure development and implementation required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $175,000.00 per year
