Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Barback to join our crew. As a Barback, you will be crucial in maintaining the bar's operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Your attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork will contribute to the bar's success in delivering top-quality service and unforgettable drinks.

Responsibilities :

• Overall Bar Preparation
• Assist in setting up the bar area before service, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and the availability of necessary supplies.
• Stock the bar with liquor, glassware, garnishes, ice, and other essential ingredients to support the bartenders during service.

Equipment Maintenance :

• Clean and maintain bar equipment, including shakers, mixing tools, blenders, glassware, and utensils, to ensure proper functionality and sanitation.
• Regularly check and refill ice bins and ice machines to guarantee an uninterrupted supply of ice for drink preparation.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar storage areas, including liquor shelves, refrigerators, and back-of-house space.

Beverage Support :

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving craft cocktails, ensuring accuracy and consistency in recipe execution.
• Retrieve and deliver requested ingredients, glassware, and garnishes in a timely manner to ensure efficient service flow.
• Monitor and communicate inventory levels to the bar management team, assisting in the restocking process to prevent shortages.

Guest Service :

• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly assisting guests with drink orders, inquiries, and any other needs they may have.
• Maintain a clean and presentable bar area, promptly clearing empty glasses, napkins, and other debris to uphold the bar's aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with the bartending team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, engaging with guests and anticipating their needs.

Safety and Compliance :

• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Handle and store hazardous materials, such as cleaning chemicals and flammable liquids, following proper procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and enforce age verification processes to comply with legal requirements.

Requirements :

• Prior experience as a Barback in a high-end cocktail bar or similar upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to provide guests a welcoming and personalized experience.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
