Service Estimator / Surveyor - Roofing

Founded in 1990, JRC Incorporated is one of the nation's premier construction companies. Licensed / Registered in 48 of 50 states we specialize in commercial and industrial capital improvement projects primarily;

steep and low slope roofing, windows, siding and gutters.

MUST LIVE IN THE MIDDLE TN AREA. This position is a mix of travel and in office work.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

• Visit sites to attain survey measurements, notes, and needed materials for jobs
• Work closely with the sales team to provide accurate information in the creation of proposals
• Utilize surveyed details to prepare takeoffs / estimates of costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ability to identify and assess roof maintenance issues
• Perform roof repairs as needed
• Meet with owners, property managers, etc. to communicate scope of work

Job Requirements :

• Availability to travel the U.S. to complete roof surveys
• Organizational, Analytical, Problem Solving and People Skills
• Able to field walk projects, climb ladders and navigate construction sites safely
• Understanding of construction and specification driven bidding processes a plus.
• Based computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Experience estimating Steep and Low Slope Roof Systems
