JR Automation is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern Near Auburn Hills, MI
As a Mechanical Intern, you will learn from some of the most dedicated and talented engineers in the automation industry. Our Mechanical Engineers will train and mentor you as you gain valuable experience in machine design. The innovative solutions we work on offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with the selection of components and creation of subassemblies.
- Contribute to documentation and drawing packages
- Update CAD models based on team feedback
- Check peer drawings.
Note: This list of responsibilities is not inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Enrolled in an engineering degree program.
- Preferred areas of study: Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field
Skills You’ll Have:
- Exposure to CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
- Ability to understand electrical/pneumatic schematic drawings.
Other Details:
- Travel up to 20% to customer sites & other JR locations
