Job Description:

Description: The Activity Therapy Assistant is responsible for assisting the Recreation Therapist in completing a full range of treatment modalities. This job will assist with the providing of activity therapy services and functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary treatment team.

Typical Duties:

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
• Associate Degree in Recreational Therapy, Activity Therapy, or other related field.
• One plus year of experience working with psychiatric patients.
Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Certification in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management; must be obtained while in orientation and maintained throughout employment.
