JPMorgan Chase is Hiring a Senior Leader- Technology Project Management, Cloud Near New York, NY

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Execution Lead to partner with Global Technology and our Lines of Businesses (LOBs) to drive the adoption of cloud-native solutions and guide the organization through its cloud journey. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud migration experience working with cross-functional teams. Is comfortable interacting with senior-level audiences, skilled at presenting information in a clear and meaningful way, and able to anticipate potential issues and address them proactively. The role requires frequent context switching and working with team members at all levels. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to both ideate opportunities and solutions and bring them to life through collaborative effective execution. This role will involve elements of Strategic Execution, Business and Program Management with a focus on managing complex initiatives to timely high-quality delivery, with a deep understanding for how to develop and implement programs that can be rolled out across multiple lines of business at massive scale. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of cloud migration projects and other organizational initiatives from ideation through execution
  • Partnering with the LOBs to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for cloud services and transformation (including migration / modernization, optimization of cloud footprint, etc.) and drive alignment with business objectives and associated technology requirements
  • Fostering strong relationships with product, engineering, operations, regulatory, security, and compliance teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of cloud initiatives with overall business, technology, operations, and compliance strategies
  • Planning and execution of senior-level meetings, end-to-end planning of events, providing agendas, insights, and analysis to assist in strategic discussions ensuring successful outcomes
  • Proactively identify obstacles and effectively problem solve and collaborate with team to identify solutions
  • Implement best practices and industry standards to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Support compliance and regulatory focused asks, accurately reflecting progress, risks, and associated mitigations plans.
  • Partnering across teams to provide timely oversight and clear messaging for critical communications 
  • Staying up to date with cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Leverage such industry knowledge to drive innovation within the organization by proposing and implementing new cloud-based solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Timely identification and appropriate evaluation of Risks and Issues with correct remedial action and planning to resolve allowing program’s success. 

Qualifications include:

  • 10 years of relevant Program/portfolio management, business management or strategy experience
  • Possess strong understanding of GCP, cloud services, infrastructure, and migration tools.
  • Comfortable with a fluid business environment, changing job priorities, and working with people at a variety of levels with the ability to work independently and/or in a group
  • Strong execution skills; extensive experience managing complex delivery across multiple workstreams and varying timelines / priorities
  • Experience operating in an agile methodology and with agile tools, such as Jira and Jira Align
  • Credible leadership experience, set in the context of teams undergoing broad transformation
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships – with the ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Excellent leadership skills – of programs, projects, teams, and employees – with demonstrated track record for attracting and retaining top talent
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex tough messages to senior audiences with poise and confidence
  • Demonstrated background of engaging on diversity and inclusion
  • Proven experience in discretion in handling highly sensitive issues
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
