JPMorgan Chase is Hiring a HR Business Manager - Technology, Product & Experience, VP Near Plano, TX

Job Description

As the Human Resources Business Manager you will support the head of Technology and Product & Experience HR in the support, coordination and delivery of Technology and Product & Experience priorities. You will provide strategy and consultative work to be used in executive-level decision making. This will require development and coordination of multiple projects and ability to orchestrate the execution of those projects amongst multiple groups. You will also collaborate with various businesses and functional areas across the Technology, Product & Experience, and CCB HR teams. The ideal candidate will be flexible and comfortable with ambiguity given the rapid pace of change and various constituencies involved.

 The position represents an excellent opportunity for candidates to:

  • Be exposed to and influence HR senior management and HR Business Advisors
  • Manage multiple projects important to the HR function and the Business
  • Hone problem solving, communications and leadership skills in an environment of active mentorship and coaching

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Central point of contact for HR partners and others (e.g., Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Training, Compensation, among others.)
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to deliver on objectives and proxy for head of Technology and Product & Experience as needed
  • Provide project and change management support as needed for the head of Technology and Product & Experience HR using project/change management disciplines and techniques 
  • Capture and maintain book of work including ad hoc projects and work with HRBAs to ensure timeliness completion of all deliverables
  • Establish strong working relationships with project sponsors, business stakeholders, peers, subject matter experts in order to manage project requirements and tracking key deliverables
  • Create materials such as briefing documents and talking points for executive audiences, insights for business reviews, CCB HR updates and other communications, etc.
  • Build presentations and organize information and data as necessary in support of the book of work 
  • Periodic evaluation of team cadences and routines for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Advisor to the Agility Office on key initiatives impacting the CCB Product organization including job architecture, training, reporting and analysis

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3 years of prior experience in financial services industry
  • Solid knowledge of organization structure, reporting and performance metrics
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, link strategies, deliver results, and adjust plans as appropriate
  • Outstanding ability to synthesize insights and ability to organize information in a concise and user-friendly way
  • Structured and strategic thinker, effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with business leaders and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to execute a clear, approachable style across a range of writing assignments including executive messages, presentations, and talking points
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Self-starter and high level of intellectual curiosity and are comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)

Preferred qualification, capabilities and skills: 

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Human resources experience is a plus
